    Birmingham is the most popular city in England after the capital city, London. The city lies within the West Midlands and is now a major commercial international centre. Birmingham is well known across the United Kingdom for its diverse culture, arts and theatre.       The Peak District National Park lies on the outskirts of the city of Birmingham, and is Britain’s first National Park. Its protected landscapes and wildlife make this a wonderful setting for recreational and outdoor activities. There is plenty of hire equipment available for fun activities like cycling, abseiling, horse riding and even yachting. The views in the Peak District are spectacular and are a peaceful get away for visitors who might prefer a quiet retreat from the busy town center of Birmingham.
